Within 24 hours of booking: no change fee if the flight is not departing within the next 24 hours (fare difference may apply). After that, changes must be made more than 2 hours before departure; fees are per direction, per person (CAD ranges include airport taxes). UltraBasic: changes not allowed (except within the 24-hour window). Econo / Member Exclusive / Premium / Business: change fee plus fare difference. EconoFlex / PremiumFlex / BusinessFlex: no change fee, fare difference only. Refundable tickets: Only PremiumFlex and BusinessFlex (and Premium/Business on Canada-Asia after a fee) return money to the original form of payment; Econo/EconoFlex/Premium/Business return value to Travel Bank; UltraBasic nothing.

No fee to change or cancel within 24 hours of booking, provided the flight is not departing within the next 24 hours; the fare difference still applies to changes. UltraBasic included ('not eligible for changes, cancellations or refunds' except within 24 hours of booking).

Carry-on: Personal item 41 x 15 x 33 cm (16 x 6 x 13 in) under the seat; carry-on bag 56 x 23 x 36 cm (22 x 9 x 14 in). 'Change or update a name on an existing booking' is handled via chat/agent. Fees page lists 'Name change: $100-$118 within Canada; $150-$177 to other destinations'. Group bookings: guest names can be changed at no charge up to 24 hours before departure.

If you do not check in or board, the flight's value is lost and cannot be refunded or credited. For return flights (all fares except UltraBasic) contact WestJet before the return flight's check-in cut-off to keep it, rebook or request a credit/refund under the original fare rules. Checked bag fees are refunded; seat fees only up to 24 h before original departure. UltraBasic keeps the return only if the same flight and cabin are available.
