Frontier Airlines bookings: changes, cancellations and refunds with Touriyo

FAQ 'Will I be charged a fee to change my reservation?' (last modified 09/24/2026): 'Yes. Change fees depend on your fare type and how close you are to your departure date.' Basic Fare / Standard ticket purchased on or after September 25, 2026: '60+ days before departure: No change fee; 59 days or less (including same-day changes): $149 change fee, per passenger, per direction'. Purchased June 5, September 24, 2026: $0 (60+ days), $79 (59 to 7 days), $129 (6 days or less). Purchased on or before June 4, 2026: $0 / $49 / $99. 'If You Purchased a Bundle (Economy, Premium, Business): No Change fees at any time. If You Purchased Economy Fare, which is a separate fare type: No Change fees at any time. 'Frontier tickets are generally non-refundable.' Carry-on: Personal item included with all fares: max 18 x 14 x 8 in (handles, wheels, straps included), up to 35 lb, must fit under the seat; size checked at boarding, oversize subject to charge. Carry-on bag is PAID (except with bundles or Elite Gold+): max 24 x 16 x 10 in, up to 35 lb; price via the Bag Price Checker (lowest at booking, higher at the airport, highest at the gate).

Checked bags: Paid: max 62 linear inches and 40 lb; buy at least 60 minutes before the flight. Business bundle includes 2 checked bags up to 50 lb each; Elite Platinum 1 and Elite Diamond 2 checked bags. Bags of 100 lb or more or over 110 linear inches not accepted.

Fees: Carry-on and checked bag prices 'vary depending on your travel dates and when you purchase them', only a Bag Price Checker is published, no fixed table. Overweight 41-50 lb: $75 per bag per direction; 51-99.99 lb: $129 (bookings on/after April 4, 2026; $100 before). Oversized 63-110 linear inches: $75. All bag fees non-refundable. FAQ (last modified 04/21/2026): 'Name correction (no fee)' fixes spelling/formatting so the reservation matches the same traveler's government ID, typos, swapped first/last, up to three character corrections, adding middle/last names or suffixes, nickname to legal name; 'Only one free name correction is allowed per passenger', via chat. 'Name Change (fee applies)' = a different traveler on the same itinerary: pay any fare difference plus a $75 name change fee (Optional Services: 'Name Change: $75 per passenger (Non-Refundable)'); if dates/cities also change, the itinerary change fee applies too. Legal name changes (marriage, divorce, court order) free with documentation, submitted at least 7 days before travel, processed within 72 hours.

FAQ 'I missed my flight, what do I do?': 'If you miss your flight by not checking in or boarding on time, your ticket will be marked as a No-Show Cancellation... Check-in must be completed at least 60 minutes before departure; Boarding must be completed at least 20 minutes before departure. If you miss either of these cutoffs, your reservation, including any return or connecting flights, will be canceled and no longer valid.'
