How it works with Touriyo

  1. Call the number on this page with your booking reference and the name on the ticket.
  2. If Touriyo issued your ticket, the agent reads its fare rules, tells you what WestJet charges for the change and quotes one total with Touriyo's fee.
  3. If you bought the ticket from WestJet or another agency, the agent explains WestJet's published rules, tells you which channel can change it and compares the change with a new ticket, which we can book if it costs less.
  4. Nothing is charged until you agree to a quoted total. Touriyo's fee is charged only when the change or the new ticket is confirmed.

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do

What Touriyo can do

  • Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
  • On any other WestJet ticket: explain WestJet's published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

  • Change, cancel or refund a ticket that WestJet or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
  • Decide or speed up a refund: WestJet decides and pays it.

What WestJet publishes about tickets bought through an agency

Change/cancel page: if booked through a travel agent or third party (Expedia, Air Miles, corporate travel arrangers, another airline) 'contact the agent or provider directly'; vacation packages through the package provider. The 24-hour and travel-advisory flexible policies are stated for flights 'booked directly through WestJet'. A dedicated travel agent support line exists: 1-877-664-3205. Phone bookings carry a non-refundable contact-centre fee (UltraBasic CAD 35-42.30; Econo/EconoFlex 25-29.25).
