Aeroméxico bookings: changes, cancellations and refunds with Touriyo

Light and Básica fares do not allow any change (flight, date, time or destination) and cannot be rescheduled after a no-show. Clásica (and AM Plus / Premier Clásica) allows changes with a change fee plus any fare difference, up to 3 hours before departure; on flights originating in the United States to Mexico the first change has no change fee (fare difference may apply). Flex fares (Clásica Flex, AM Plus Flex, Premier Flex, Premier One Flex) allow unlimited changes without penalty (fare difference may apply), no no-show charge and a refund; Flex is chosen only at booking. 'AM Vuela Flex' lets you fly earlier the same day without change fee or fare difference. Note: 'Para boletos adquiridos antes del 23 de abril de 2026, aplican cargos por cambio en rutas nacionales de acuerdo con la anticipación a la fecha de salida.'

Light, Básica and Clásica (including AM Plus and Premier Básica/Clásica) are 'No reembolsable'. Flex fares: 'Cancela tu vuelo y recibe un reembolso en tu forma original de pago' for tickets bought from 21 December 2021 (tickets bought before that date were refunded as an electronic voucher/EMD); Flex tickets bought from 13 December 2021 are not refundable after a no-show, they can only be rescheduled. Refund requests are made through 'Administra tu viaje'.

Refundable tickets: Refundable: Flex fares only (Clásica Flex, AM Plus Flex, Premier Flex, Premier One Flex), to the original form of payment, before departure. Non-refundable: Light, Básica, Clásica, AM Plus Básica/Clásica, Premier Básica/Clásica, Premier One Básica/Clásica.

Credits and vouchers: Flex tickets bought before 21 December 2021 were refunded as an electronic voucher (EMD). Tickets originally paid with 'Travel Voucher/EMD Compensación' cannot use the name-change service.

Carry-on: Artículo personal (all fares): bag/backpack/briefcase under the seat, suggested max 3 kg and 45 x 35 x 20 cm. Equipaje de mano: Light - not included; Básica - 1 piece max 10 kg, 55 x 40 x 25 cm; Clásica / Flex - 1 carry-on + personal item, max 15 kg between both (55 x 40 x 25 cm). If there is no cabin space the carry-on is checked free of charge.

Checked bags: Max 158 cm / 62 in linear per piece. Cabina Turista (México domestic): Light, Básica, Clásica, Flex and AM Plus Básica - no bag included, 'Opción de comprar 25 kg'; AM Plus Clásica and AM Plus Flex - 1 x 25 kg included. Clásica includes a 25 kg checked bag on routes to Europe, Asia, South America, El Salvador, San José (Costa Rica) and Quito. Cabina Premier: Premier Básica 1 x 32 kg; Premier Clásica and Flex 2 x 32 kg. Premier One: Básica 1 x 32 kg; Clásica and Flex 2 x 32 kg. Aeroméxico Rewards Titanio/Platino/Oro and Aeroméxico cards: one extra piece (Turista 25 kg, Premier 32 kg).

Fees: Clásica fares get 25% discount on checked baggage; prices vary by point of sale, currency and season.

Spelling corrections ('Correcciones de nombre') are free when the passenger's name has an orthographic error, presenting an official document. Name changes to another person: not permitted on Light/Básica ('Los cambios de nombre no están permitidos' - applies to domestic and international flights); on Clásica only one name change with an additional charge, requested at least 15 days before departure on international flights and at least 3 hours before on domestic flights; not available for tickets bought at the Brazil point of sale or paid with Travel Voucher/EMD Compensación.

Light: this applies to domestic flights only. Clásica: changes must be made at most 3 h before departure; after that no changes except on Flex fares. Itineraries with segments in Brazil or Korea can keep remaining segments if the no-show penalty is paid. Flex: 'no aplica cargo por No show' - rebook without penalty.

'Para reservaciones de más de 9 pasajeros contacta a nuestro Call Center al (55) 5133 4000' / 'Si viajas con más de diez pasajeros en una misma reservación'. Process: request a quote by phone, block seats, pay 25% of the total to get a contract, then send names and pay the balance. Separate channels for IATA travel agencies / GSO users and for congresses (Clave de Congreso).

Aeroméxico sells these fare families, each with its own change, refund and baggage rules:

• Light (personal item only, no carry-on, no changes, no refund, no seat)
• Básica (adds 10 kg carry-on; no changes, no refund)
• Clásica (15 kg carry-on + personal item, standard seat, changes with fee, non-refundable, 25% off checked bags, 8 Rewards points/USD)
• Clásica Flex / 'Flex' (unlimited free changes, refundable, no no-show charge, AM Vuela Flex)
• AM Plus Básica / Clásica / Flex (extra-legroom cabin; Clásica and Flex include 1 x 25 kg)
• Premier Básica / Clásica / Flex (business cabin; 1 or 2 x 32 kg)
• Premier One Básica / Clásica / Flex (long-haul business, 787)

Aeroméxico's loyalty program is Aeroméxico Rewards (tiers Oro, Platino, Titanio; SkyTeam). Clásica earns 8 points per USD; Light and Básica earn none.. Miles and status are managed with Aeroméxico, not with Touriyo.
