Cancelling an Avior Airlines ticket and getting a refund

Official notices on the airline's API (ab-blog.avior.com.ve) record flight suspensions ordered by INAC for Caracas/Maiquet铆a between 24 June and 2 July 2026 with 'alternativas para los pasajeros afectados', reinstatement of domestic and international flights (January 2026), resumption of Caracas flights from 7 September 2026, and cancellation of 'Conexi贸n Posterior' connecting itineraries from 23 March 2026 - all without readable refund rules.

Recent changes Avior Airlines has published

Official notices (ab-blog.avior.com.ve): connecting itineraries ('Conexi贸n Posterior') cancelled from 23 March 2026; Caracas operations suspended 24 June - 2 July 2026 by INAC; temporary terminals at Maiquet铆a (notice of 4 Sept 2026); Caracas flights resumed 7 Sept 2026. A notice titled 'Nuevo numero de contacto' was created on 2 October 2026 but is still INACTIVE (unpublished, API returns 401 for its body) - the airline may be about to change its contact number; re-verify before publishing.

What Touriyo can do

  • Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
  • On any other Avior Airlines ticket: explain Avior Airlines' published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

  • Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Avior Airlines or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
  • Decide or speed up a refund: Avior Airlines decides and pays it.

What Avior Airlines publishes about tickets bought through an agency

Nothing readable. The notice 'Nueva Plataforma Digital para Documentos de Viaje' (from 1 June 2026) is addressed to 'pasajeros y aliados comerciales'.
