Akasa Air bookings: changes, cancellations and refunds with Touriyo

Date/time changes are made online under Manage Booking (name + PNR). Fee tables 'effective for bookings made from 03rd June 2026 onwards'. Domestic: Saver INR 2,999 (4-72 h and 72+ h before departure); Flexi INR 999 (4-72 h) / INR 299 (72+ h), always plus any difference in base fare and taxes. International ex-India (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Thailand, Vietnam): Saver INR 5,000 (4-72 h) / INR 4,000 (72+ h); Flexi INR 3,000 / INR 1,000. Inbound to India priced in local currency (e.g. UAE-India Saver AED 260 / AED 225, Flexi AED 175 / AED 40). Any change or cancellation within 4 hours of scheduled departure forfeits 100% of the airfare. Conditions of Carriage cl. 5.5(b)(i) additionally says changes/cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before departure. Fees are set 'in accordance with the DGCA CAR - Section 3, Series M, Part II' (CoC cl. 5.5(b)(ii)).

Cancellation online under Manage Booking > Cancel Flight ('bookings made from 03rd June 2026 onwards'). Domestic per passenger: Saver INR 4,999 (4-24 h), INR 4,999 (24-72 h), INR 3,999 (72+ h) 'or 100% of base fare, whichever is lower'; Flexi INR 3,499 (4-24 h), INR 2,499 (24-72 h), INR 2,499 (72+ h). International ex-India: Saver INR 9,000 / 8,000 / 7,000 and Flexi INR 7,000 / 6,000 / 5,000 for the same windows, capped at 100% of airfare. Inbound to India in local currency (e.g. UAE-India Saver AED 500 / 450 / 395; Flexi AED 345 / 330 / 280). Within 4 h of departure 100% of the airfare is forfeited. Conditions of Carriage: refunds to the original credit/debit card 'within 7 (seven) working days from the date of the refund request' (cl. 5.5(f)(i)); website bookings refunded to card/UPI/bank/wallet within 7 working days (cl. 5.5(f)(ii)); always in the currency of payment (cl. 5.5(i)). Flight cancelled or rescheduled by Akasa to depart more than an hour earlier: refund or free rebooking subject to availability (cl. 14.3(b)); compensation 'as per DGCA CAR - Section 3, Series M, Part IV, Issue I, if applicable' and nothing beyond it (cl. 14.3(d)-(e)). Medical cancellations handled under CAR Section 3 Series M Part II (cl. 5.5(k)(ii)).

Refundable tickets: Paid tariffs are refundable subject to the change/cancellation policy of the tariff type (CoC cl. 5.5(a)); fee deducted before refund (cl. 5.5(b)(ii)); cash bookings refunded by electronic transfer after a refund form at a counter or to info@akasaair.com (cl. 5.5(f)(iv)); force majeure refunds at Akasa's discretion as to manner (cl. 5.5(e)).

No 24-hour free-cancellation window is stated on the cancel-flight, cancellation-policy or branded-fares pages. The only 24-hour rule found is the free spelling correction within 24 h of booking (CoC cl. 5.5(d)).

Carry-on: One handbag up to 7 kg and 115 cm (L+W+H) plus one personal item of 3 kg or less that fits under the seat (domestic and international). Infant: one handbag up to 7 kg / 115 cm.

Checked bags: Domestic: 15 kg, 1 piece only. International (except Phuket/Hanoi): 30 kg, 2 pieces only. Phuket and Hanoi: 1 piece, 20 kg. Each bag max 158 cm (62 in) L+W+H and max 32 kg. Student fare: one bag up to 25 kg (domestic only). Infant: no checked allowance; one stroller free on international.

Fees: Prepaid excess (domestic, INR): 3 kg 2,250; 5 kg 3,750; 10 kg 7,500; 15 kg 11,250; 20 kg 15,000; 30 kg 22,500; per kg 800. International ex-India per kg INR 1,500 (slabs from INR 6,000). Prepaid online up to 2 hours before departure; non-transferable, per sector. Lost checked baggage liability INR 350 per kg, max INR 25,000 (CoC cl. 17.3(a)).

Conditions of Carriage cl. 5.5(d): 'Akasa Air does not permit changes in name once a Booking is complete.' A spelling correction is allowed within 24 hours of booking through the Call Centre without additional charges.

No-show = customer who fails to check in at least 60 minutes before departure and does not cancel/change at least 4 hours before (CoC cl. 1(pp)). 'No-Show: 100% of airfare will be forfieted'; 'the entire amount paid for the Booking will be retained by Akasa Air' and only Airport Charges are refunded (CoC cl. 5.5(a), 8.1(e), 8.3(b)).

Branded-fares page: published fares apply to individual bookings only, maximum 9 passengers per PNR.

Change/cancel fee tables marked 'effective for bookings made from 03rd June 2026 onwards'. The cancellation-policy page carries the same table dated 12 May 2026; the older branded-fares page still shows lower fees (cancel INR 3,999/2,999; change INR 2,999/2,250) - stale.
