Paranair bookings: changes, cancellations and refunds with Touriyo

Changes are not self-service: the 'Cambios' page only says to contact the call centre or write to atencionalcliente@paranair.com. The fares page publishes the change charge before departure by fare family: Super Paranair USD 50 domestic / USD 100 international; Paranair Óptima USD 30 / USD 60; Paranair Plus no charge. The contract of carriage adds that any change of date, route or itinerary is subject to the conditions of the fare bought and may carry a penalty (fare difference is implied by 'sujeto a las condiciones de la tarifa'; the site does not spell out 'plus fare difference').

FAQ: a ticket may or may not be refundable depending on the fare rules chosen at purchase; if refundable, the fare's penalty is deducted; a non-refundable ticket can be used as payment towards a new ticket. The refund goes to the passenger named on the ticket after proof of purchase (invoice or card statement), in the currency of purchase, and must be requested within the ticket's validity (contract: one year from original issue or reissue unless the fare says otherwise). If Paranair is responsible for a cancellation (mechanical, maintenance, logistics) you may request a total or partial 'involuntary' refund. Refundable tickets: Super Paranair (X/W/A/O/Q): non-refundable. Paranair Óptima (N/S/V/L/M/K/H): refund charge USD 100 per segment, domestic and international. Paranair Plus (B/Y): refund charge USD 50 per segment, domestic and international. Refund only within ticket validity; paid in purchase currency to the named passenger.

Credits and vouchers: No formal voucher/credit product is published. FAQ: a non-refundable ticket 'puede utilizarlo como forma de pago para un nuevo boleto'.

No 24-hour free-cancellation or 'retracto / arrepentimiento' rule is published on paranair.com.

Carry-on: One cabin bag up to 5 kg, max 45 x 35 x 20 cm (including wheels and handle), plus one personal item that fits under the seat (handbag, laptop bag or baby bag) and small extras (coat, umbrella, small camera, binoculars, reading material, small duty-free bag, e-cigarette without battery). If there is no room on board it is checked free of charge. Infants 0-23 months on an infant fare: only the equivalent of a carry-on.

Checked bags: One bag up to 23 kg and 158 cm (sum of height + length + width) included in all three fare families.

Fees: Tarifas de equipaje page: same bag between 23 and 32 kg - USD 70 on direct flights / USD 80 on flights with stops; one extra bag up to 23 kg - USD 60 direct / USD 70 with stops. All amounts net; taxes of the place of payment are added.

FAQ: if the name or surname was typed wrongly, contact the call centre to review the case; the request must be made at least 24 hours before departure. Contract of carriage: name changes and assignment of the contract are not allowed; exceptionally the carrier may, at its sole discretion and with prior written authorisation, allow a ticket to be assigned to a third party.

Contract of carriage defines no-show as holding a confirmed booking and not presenting at the times set by the carrier, which loses the booked flight(s) and 'en algunos casos' generates charges.
