Ryanair at a glance

Ryanair (Ryanair DAC) is an airline based in Ireland, IATA code FR, ICAO code RYR.

This page brings together what Ryanair publishes on its own website (ryanair.com) about changing, cancelling and refunding tickets, its baggage rules and its own contact channels for 2 countries, checked on 18 October 2026. Every rule below links to the Ryanair page it comes from.

Touriyo is not Ryanair. Touriyo's agents can handle a Ryanair ticket that Touriyo issued, and for any other Ryanair ticket they explain the rules and point you to the channel that can help.

What a Touriyo agent can do with a Ryanair booking

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

Changing a Ryanair ticket

Flights can be changed online in My Bookings up to 2.5 hours before the scheduled departure of the original or new flight (whichever is earlier). A change fee is charged per passenger per one-way flight: €/£45 online, €/£60 through an agent or at the airport, plus any difference between the original fare/optional fees and the current ones; if the new fare is cheaper the difference is not refunded. Route changes and changes to a return after flying the outbound follow the same rules (some only by call centre or airport desk). 24-hour grace period: within 24 hours of the original booking minor errors (dates/times) and route reversal can be corrected without the change fee (fare difference still applies). Flexi Plus fare: change flight or route without the change fee (same route on the day of travel free; other routes/dates pay only the fare difference) up to one hour before departure; services transfer if available. Bookings or changes made through the contact centre cost more than online.

Cancelling a Ryanair ticket and getting a refund

'Ryanair tickets are generally non-refundable. If your flight operated and you didn't travel, you're not entitled to a refund.' Refunds are due when Ryanair cancels the flight, fails to operate it reasonably to schedule or denies boarding, under the Passenger Rights Regulations, and when an immediate family member not travelling dies within 10 days before the flight or someone on the booking dies before the trip. Government taxes on unused flights can be refunded less a €/£20 administration fee per passenger. Refunds for disruption are requested online; bookings made through an online travel agent need a customer verification form so Ryanair can pay the passenger directly (in some cases the refund goes back to the agent, who must then pass it on). Refund timing and the Ryanair Wallet are covered in the Refunds help section.

Refundable tickets: No fare is voluntarily refundable; exceptions: airline cancellation/denied boarding, bereavement (immediate family within 10 days before the flight, or a passenger on the booking), government tax refund minus €/£20 fee.

Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do

What Touriyo can do

  • Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
  • On any other Ryanair ticket: explain Ryanair's published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

  • Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Ryanair or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
  • Decide or speed up a refund: Ryanair decides and pays it.

What Ryanair publishes about tickets bought through an agency

Online travel agent bookings: Ryanair usually has no contact or payment details, so refunds need a customer verification form or a Letter of Authority, and some refunds are paid back to the OTA. Changes made through the contact centre cost more than online (change fee 60 vs 45; name change 160 vs 115; 'Link Booking Fee' €/£30 through an agent; booking fee €/£50). 'Remember that reservations or changes to reservations made through our Contact Center will incur higher charges if the reservation or change could have been made online.'

Questions people ask

Is Touriyo Ryanair?

No. Touriyo is an independent travel agency. The number at the top of this page reaches Touriyo's agents, not Ryanair. Ryanair's own channels are listed on this page.

How do I contact Ryanair directly?

Through the channels Ryanair publishes, listed on this page by country with the hours the airline states, checked on 18 October 2026.

Can Touriyo change or cancel a Ryanair ticket I bought somewhere else?

No. Only Ryanair, or the agency that sold the ticket, can change or cancel it. A Touriyo agent explains Ryanair's published rules, points you to the right channel and can book a new ticket if that works out better.

What does Touriyo charge?

To change, cancel or request a refund on a ticket Touriyo issued, the Touriyo fee is quoted on the call from the airline's rules, in one total before you pay, and it is charged only when the service is confirmed. Adding bags and advice by phone: no Touriyo fee.

What does Ryanair publish about cancelling right after booking?

Only a change grace period, not a refund: 'We allow a grace period of 24 hours from the time of your original booking to correct any minor errors you may have made (dates/times) free of charge' and to reverse a wrongly booked route, paying only any fare difference. No 24-hour free cancellation (tickets are non-refundable).
