Norwegian at a glance

Norwegian (Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA) is an airline based in Norway, IATA code DY, ICAO code NAX. It is also known as Norwegian Air Shuttle.

This page brings together what Norwegian publishes on its own website (norwegian.com) about changing, cancelling and refunding tickets, its baggage rules and its own contact channels for 2 countries, checked on 18 October 2026. Every rule below links to the Norwegian page it comes from.

Touriyo is not Norwegian. Touriyo's agents can handle a Norwegian ticket that Touriyo issued, and for any other Norwegian ticket they explain the rules and point you to the channel that can help.

What a Touriyo agent can do with a Norwegian booking

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

Delays and cancellations under European rules, as Norwegian states them

'For all flights you will be entitled to assistance in line with EU Regulation 261/2004 - a common set of rules all European airlines follow. You will only be entitled to compensation if your flight is delayed by 3 hours or more [or cancelled] due to reasons within our control.' Delays: food, drink and calls while waiting (reasonable, no alcohol, keep receipts); overnight: accommodation and transport; delays of 2+ hours free rebooking, 5+ hours refund; missed connections on one booking rebooked with food and hotel if needed. Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do

What Touriyo can do

  • Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
  • On any other Norwegian ticket: explain Norwegian's published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

  • Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Norwegian or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
  • Decide or speed up a refund: Norwegian decides and pays it.

What Norwegian publishes about tickets bought through an agency

The help page separates travel agents ('Are you a travel agent? Please visit Norwegian Agent / Contact Agent Support'). Conditions of Carriage 11.1.2: 'If you have purchased your ticket through a third party, please make sure that they have transferred your contact details to us' so schedule changes reach you. Fare rules: 'Certain tickets cannot be changed online - you'll need to call our Contact Centre'; phone/airport changes carry the 30 GBP service charge. No explicit statement that agency tickets must be serviced by the agency was found.

Questions people ask

Is Touriyo Norwegian?

No. Touriyo is an independent travel agency. The number at the top of this page reaches Touriyo's agents, not Norwegian. Norwegian's own channels are listed on this page.

How do I contact Norwegian directly?

Through the channels Norwegian publishes, listed on this page by country with the hours the airline states, checked on 18 October 2026.

Can Touriyo change or cancel a Norwegian ticket I bought somewhere else?

No. Only Norwegian, or the agency that sold the ticket, can change or cancel it. A Touriyo agent explains Norwegian's published rules, points you to the right channel and can book a new ticket if that works out better.

What does Touriyo charge?

To change, cancel or request a refund on a ticket Touriyo issued, the Touriyo fee is quoted on the call from the airline's rules, in one total before you pay, and it is charged only when the service is confirmed. Adding bags and advice by phone: no Touriyo fee.

What does Norwegian publish about cancelling right after booking?

'Full refund within 24 hours of original booking creation, but not later than 24 hours before scheduled departure' on LowFare and LowFare+ (tickets issued from 27.01.2026); for bookings made before 28.04.2026 created less than 24 hours before departure, within 4 hours of booking and no later than 4 hours before departure. Excludes change fees, meals, card fee, service fee, SMS, donations and Time-To-Think.
