How it works with Touriyo
- Call with your ticket number or booking reference.
- The agent checks Southwest Airlines' published refund rules for your fare, including what applies when the airline cancels or changes your flight.
- If Touriyo issued the ticket, we request the refund from Southwest Airlines and follow it up. If you bought it elsewhere, the agent tells you where and how to ask for it.
- Southwest Airlines decides and pays refunds on its tickets. Touriyo's fee is never deducted from a refund the airline owes you.
The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.
What Southwest Airlines publishes about this
- Choice Preferred and Choice Extra: 'As long as you cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes prior to the original scheduled departure of your flight, you're eligible to receive 100% of your ticket value (not including optional travel charges) as a refund to your original form of payment.'
- Flight credits created on or after May 28, 2025 expire: Basic fare flight credit 6 months; Choice/Choice Preferred/Choice Extra Transferable Flight Credit 12 months from the original booking date (or the earliest expiry of any credit/voucher used to pay).
- Flight credits created on or before May 27, 2025 do not expire.
- Southwest Airlines takes refund requests on its own website (support.southwest.com).
