How it works with Touriyo
- Call with your ticket number or booking reference.
- The agent checks ITA Airways' published refund rules for your fare, including what applies when the airline cancels or changes your flight.
- If Touriyo issued the ticket, we request the refund from ITA Airways and follow it up. If you bought it elsewhere, the agent tells you where and how to ask for it.
- ITA Airways decides and pays refunds on its tickets. Touriyo's fee is never deducted from a refund the airline owes you.
The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

- Per applicable fare rules. Refund of a ticket may be requested up to 30 days after its expiry unless fare rules are more restrictive; refunded in the original form of payment.
- US Customer Service Plan: on request, travel credits or vouchers that are transferable and do not expire for at least five years are provided when a serious communicable disease affects travel (14 CFR part 262); any material restrictions on vouchers or credits are disclosed.

Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do
What Touriyo can do
- Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
- On any other ITA Airways ticket: explain ITA Airways' published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.
What Touriyo cannot do
- Change, cancel or refund a ticket that ITA Airways or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
- Decide or speed up a refund: ITA Airways decides and pays it.
What ITA Airways publishes about tickets bought through an agency
ITA states explicitly: a ticket bought through a travel agency cannot be changed online - 'you will need to contact the travel agency that issued the ticket' (Change and refund FAQ); and 'Refunds of Tickets purchased through Authorized Agents are made by the Authorized Agents directly' (General Conditions of Carriage, refunds). Cases that cannot be handled online (special assistance, unaccompanied minors, extra baggage, upgrades, part-group changes) go to the Customer Information Assistance Office or the travel agency; for those cases CIAO handles the request free of charge. Group travel requests must be submitted through a travel agency.
