How it works with Touriyo
- Call with your booking reference and the name on the ticket.
- The agent reads the fare rules and tells you what British Airways returns: money, a credit or nothing, and by when.
- If Touriyo issued the ticket, the agent cancels it once you agree and sends you the confirmation. If you bought it from British Airways or another agency, the agent explains the rules and tells you which channel can cancel it.
- Touriyo's fee, if any, is charged only when the cancellation is done, and it is never taken out of money the airline owes you.
The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.
What British Airways publishes about this
- Direct bookings can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of booking (Manage My Booking for ba.com bookings, by phone for phone bookings), except flights departing within 24 hours, bookings without immediate payment and packages.
- After that, refunds follow the fare rules: voluntary refunds are the unused fare, carrier charges and taxes 'less any cancellation and reasonable service charge' (CoC 10c); on non-refundable tickets the taxes, fees and charges are refundable less a reasonable service charge (4b4).
- Involuntary refunds in full (10b) when BA cancels, makes a significant schedule change you do not accept, delays five hours or more, misses a stop or causes a missed connection.

'If you booked through a travel agent, tour operator or website other than ba.com, please get in touch with them directly if you've got any queries.' Name corrections: 'We can't change tickets they've issued.' EU/UK261 refunds: 'If you booked through a travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to get a refund.' Will I get my money back if I cancel a British Airways ticket?
It depends on the fare and on British Airways' rules. British Airways publishes: Direct bookings can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of booking (Manage My Booking for ba.com bookings, by phone for phone bookings), except flights departing within 24 hours, bookings without immediate payment and packages. After that, refunds follow the fare rules: voluntary refunds are the unused fare, carrier charges and taxes 'less any cancellation and reasonable service charge' (CoC 10c); on non-refundable tickets the taxes, fees and charges are refundable less a reasonable service charge (4b4).
