If Touriyo issued your ticket, the agent reads its fare rules, tells you what Air India charges for the change and quotes one total with Touriyo's fee.
If you bought the ticket from Air India or another agency, the agent explains Air India's published rules, tells you which channel can change it and compares the change with a new ticket, which we can book if it costs less.
Nothing is charged until you agree to a quoted total. Touriyo's fee is charged only when the change or the new ticket is confirmed.

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

What Touriyo can do

Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.

What Touriyo cannot do

Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Air India or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
Decide or speed up a refund: Air India decides and pays it.

What Air India publishes about tickets bought through an agency

Air India states repeatedly that tickets issued by a travel agent or bought on a third-party website must be refunded and status-checked through that agent/website ('please reach out to your travel agent or visit the website to help initiate your refund'); tickets from Air India offices only at the same office. For skipped segments on agency tickets: 'please contact your travel agent or raise a request through the Air India Customer Support Portal'. Basic fares are sold only through Air India direct channels. Self-service re-accommodation requires a valid e-ticket and email on the PNR and max 9 passengers.
