Touriyo is an independent travel agency. We are not TAP Air Portugal and we do not act on its behalf. The number on this page reaches Touriyo; TAP Air Portugal's official channel is +1 800 903 791 4 (source: www.flytap.com/en-us/help, checked 18 October 2026).

Before anything is cancelled, a Touriyo agent reads your fare rules and tells you what TAP Air Portugal returns: money, a credit or nothing, and by when. If Touriyo issued the ticket, the agent cancels it once you agree. If you bought it from TAP Air Portugal or another agency, the agent explains the rules and points you to the channel that can cancel it.

Touriyo's service fee is quoted on the call, before you pay, based on the airline's rules for your ticket, in one total with what the airline charges. It is charged only when the service is confirmed. No Touriyo fee when the airline cancelled or significantly changed your flight. The price you confirm is the price you pay.See all our service fees

Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do

What Touriyo can do

Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
On any other TAP Air Portugal ticket: explain TAP Air Portugal's published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

Change, cancel or refund a ticket that TAP Air Portugal or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
Decide or speed up a refund: TAP Air Portugal decides and pays it.

What TAP Air Portugal publishes about tickets bought through an agency

TAP states it explicitly: bookings made through travel agencies cannot be changed online and must be changed through the agency; online refund requests are only available for tickets purchased directly from TAP (agency bookings are refunded through the agency; TAP Contact Center only if the agency cannot resolve it); name corrections on agency tickets go through the agent; after online check-in, agency bookings must also go back to the agency.

Questions people ask

Will I get my money back if I cancel a TAP Air Portugal ticket?

It depends on the fare and on TAP Air Portugal's rules. TAP Air Portugal publishes: Voluntary refunds follow the refund rules per fare and route. Europe & Morocco: Discount, Classic and Executive refund airport taxes only; Basic is non-refundable; Plus and Top Executive are fully refundable (only if no leg was flown). A Touriyo agent reads your ticket's rules before anything is cancelled.

What does TAP Air Portugal publish about cancelling right after booking?

All fares are refundable with no penalty if the refund is requested within the first 24 h after purchase and the trip was booked at least seven days before departure. No fee online; via Call Center or sales counter a 40 EUR / 50 USD / 60 CAD service fee applies, except for tickets issued in the USA, Canada and Brazil, where no processing fee applies within 24 h regardless of channel.

Can Touriyo cancel a ticket I bought directly from TAP Air Portugal?

No. Only TAP Air Portugal can cancel a ticket it issued, and only the issuing agency can cancel one bought from an agency. A Touriyo agent explains TAP Air Portugal's published rules, points you to the right channel and, if a new ticket works out better, can book it for you.

What does Touriyo charge to cancel?

Touriyo's fee is quoted on the call from the airline's rules, in one total before you pay, and it is charged only when the cancellation is done. If your fare returns nothing, the agent tells you first and you can decide not to go ahead.

Can I cancel directly with TAP Air Portugal?

Yes, through TAP Air Portugal's own channels listed on this page, at no agency cost.
