Cancel your KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight with a Touriyo agent

• You may cancel any time after booking without giving a reason and request a refund online; the amount depends on route, class and ticket type.
• Economy and Premium Comfort: Basic, Light and Standard are not refundable; Flex is refundable (free or for a fee depending on the fare paid); Business conditions vary by flight and are shown at booking or in the confirmation e-mail.
• Even with a non-refundable ticket you can recover unused airport taxes if you did not board.
• Booking fees, reissue fee and payment surcharges are not refunded.
• Right after booking: US market only: the US 'Customer commitment' page says 'Customer First Programme: Ticket refund within 24 hours of purchase. For flights to or from the USA only: if you booked a flight on klm.us, you can apply for a refund within 24 hours after booking (together with any paid option purchased at that time)'.

KLM's wording differs by market. Cancel page (all markets): 'If you booked your flight via a travel agent, please contact them directly to cancel your trip.' Refund pages on the Colombia, Mexico, Spain, UK, US and India sites: contact the travel agency first; if the agent does not accept the request or there are difficulties, contact KLM; the online refund system cannot be used for agency bookings. The Netherlands site is more open: 'Booked through a travel agent or another company... Contact us to rebook your flight or request a refund... You cannot use our online refund system.' Name correction on agency tickets: contact the agent directly in advance; KLM charges EUR 30 (only on the day of departure) if the ticket has to be corrected on its side. Booking fees: none online at klm.com; fees apply via the KLM Customer Contact Center or a KLM ticket office; travel agencies apply their own booking fees; service fees for changes or cancellations made with an agent are non-refundable. US-market addition: 'Requests for refunds of tickets purchased from a travel agent should be referred back to the agency for processing if the travel agent is the merchant of record'; US fees page: a USD 35 service fee applies when KLM changes a ticket bought through a travel agency or third-party website, and KLM says to send refund requests for such tickets to the agency or website.
