Cancel your Iberia flight with a Touriyo agent

• Refundability depends on the fare: in Economy, Básica and Óptima are 'Reembolsos: No permitido', Executive 'Con cargo', Confort and Flexible 'Permitido'.
• If the fare is non-refundable, Iberia refunds the airport taxes.
• Voluntary refunds are requested in 'Gestiona tu reserva' (same conditions as for changes) or by phone; refunds to the original payment method take up to 30 days depending on the bank; a refund voucher ('bono') is issued immediately.
• When Iberia cancels the flight or delays it more than 5 hours and the passenger chooses not to fly, the refund can be a voucher (immediate) or to the original payment method (about 7 business days to process, up to 30 days to appear).
• Right after booking: US site, 'Compromiso de servicio': bookings made on iberia.com, the app or the call centre can be refunded free of charge during the first 24 hours after purchase through Gestiona tu reserva; after 24 hours the fare conditions apply. Colombia site FAQ: a booking can be cancelled at no cost if requested within 24 hours after purchase (not for a same-day return flight) via Gestiona tu reserva, with the fare retention capped at 10% except promotional fares; plus the Colombian 'retracto' (5 business days) described above.

Iberia repeats it on every page: 'Si compraste tu billete por medio de una agencia, contacta con ella para ayudarte a gestionar tu reserva.' Changes, refunds, name corrections, refunds for death/illness, the Colombian retracto and desistimiento and rebooking after a cancellation (if the passenger is not yet at the airport) must all go through the issuing agency, which then processes the request with Iberia. Online self-service in Gestiona tu reserva is only for tickets bought on iberia.com or the app. At the airport Iberia attends everyone at its counters regardless of channel.
