How it works with Touriyo

Call with your booking reference and the name on the ticket.
The agent reads the fare rules and tells you what Austrian Airlines returns: money, a credit or nothing, and by when.
If Touriyo issued the ticket, the agent cancels it once you agree and sends you the confirmation. If you bought it from Austrian Airlines or another agency, the agent explains the rules and tells you which channel can cancel it.
Touriyo's fee, if any, is charged only when the cancellation is done, and it is never taken out of money the airline owes you.

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

What Touriyo can do

Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
On any other Austrian Airlines ticket: explain Austrian Airlines' published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Austrian Airlines or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
Decide or speed up a refund: Austrian Airlines decides and pays it.

What Austrian Airlines publishes about tickets bought through an agency

What Austrian states (second look, 18-oct-2026): the refund enquiry page says 'If you purchased your ticket online at austrian.com or at a Austrian Airlines Office, the refund will be made automatically and there is no need for any further action. For tickets booked via a travel agency or any other third-party portal, please get in touch with them.' The Terms of Carriage say tickets are not transferable (3.1.2) and that the conditions for rebooking or refund depend on the fare (3.1.3). The 'Service fees' page says the ticket service charge depends on the booking channel (online, call centre or travel agencies) and is shown on the ticket; the passenger-rights page says that when booking through an EU travel agency the passenger is entitled to neutral and correct information from the reservation system, including the airline actually operating the flight. No other agency-specific rule was found.
