Touriyo is an independent travel agency. We are not Etihad Airways and we do not act on its behalf. The number on this page reaches Touriyo; Etihad Airways' official channel is +19143038393 (source: www.etihad.com/en-us/help, checked 18 October 2026).

Before anything is cancelled, a Touriyo agent reads your fare rules and tells you what Etihad Airways returns: money, a credit or nothing, and by when. If Touriyo issued the ticket, the agent cancels it once you agree. If you bought it from Etihad Airways or another agency, the agent explains the rules and points you to the channel that can cancel it.

Touriyo agents answer Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 11 pm US Eastern Time.

Touriyo's service fee is quoted on the call, before you pay, based on the airline's rules for your ticket, in one total with what the airline charges. It is charged only when the service is confirmed. No Touriyo fee when the airline cancelled or significantly changed your flight. The price you confirm is the price you pay.See all our service fees

How it works with Touriyo

  1. Call with your booking reference and the name on the ticket.
  2. The agent reads the fare rules and tells you what Etihad Airways returns: money, a credit or nothing, and by when.
  3. If Touriyo issued the ticket, the agent cancels it once you agree and sends you the confirmation. If you bought it from Etihad Airways or another agency, the agent explains the rules and tells you which channel can cancel it.
  4. Touriyo's fee, if any, is charged only when the cancellation is done, and it is never taken out of money the airline owes you.

The total, including the airline's charges and Touriyo's fee, is quoted before any card is taken. Refunds owed by the airline are never reduced by our fee.

What Etihad Airways publishes about this

  • Request refunds online: etihad.com/manage > booking > 'Cancel / Refund' ('Booked via a travel agent?
  • Please contact your agent directly'). Eligibility depends on fare type, whether part of the trip was flown and the fare rules; non-refundable fares still get eligible government taxes back.
  • Validity: unused tickets up to 1 year from issue, partially used up to 1 year from first flight.
  • Processing: credit/debit card typically 5-14 business days; bank transfer/PayFort up to 45 business days; Etihad Credit 3-5 business days.
  • Right after booking: FAQ (refunds): 'If you cancel your ticket within 24 hours of purchase, and your flight departs 7 days or more from the date of booking, any unused ancillary services purchased in the same transaction will also be refunded' - i.e. the 24-hour cancellation applies to bookings made 7+ days before departure.

Tickets bought through an agency: what Touriyo can and cannot do

What Touriyo can do

  • Change, cancel, request refunds and add bags on tickets Touriyo issued.
  • On any other Etihad Airways ticket: explain Etihad Airways' published rules, tell you which channel can help and book a new ticket if that works out better.

What Touriyo cannot do

  • Change, cancel or refund a ticket that Etihad Airways or another agency issued: only the issuer can.
  • Decide or speed up a refund: Etihad Airways decides and pays it.

What Etihad Airways publishes about tickets bought through an agency

Changes, refunds and contact-detail updates for tickets booked through a travel agent go through the agent ('you'll need to speak to them directly'); agency-booked guests can still buy seats, extra baggage, upgrades, Priority Access and lounge access in Manage My Trip; upgrades usually allowed on agency bookings except some promo fares. For US involuntary refunds the FAQ tells agents to put 'USA INV REF 7 days rule' in the subject line to the Refunds team.

Questions people ask

Will I get my money back if I cancel an Etihad Airways ticket?

It depends on the fare and on Etihad Airways' rules. Etihad Airways publishes: Request refunds online: etihad.com/manage > booking > 'Cancel / Refund' ('Booked via a travel agent? Please contact your agent directly'). A Touriyo agent reads your ticket's rules before anything is cancelled.

What does Etihad Airways publish about cancelling right after booking?

FAQ (refunds): 'If you cancel your ticket within 24 hours of purchase, and your flight departs 7 days or more from the date of booking, any unused ancillary services purchased in the same transaction will also be refunded' - i.e. the 24-hour cancellation applies to bookings made 7+ days before departure.

Can Touriyo cancel a ticket I bought directly from Etihad Airways?

No. Only Etihad Airways can cancel a ticket it issued, and only the issuing agency can cancel one bought from an agency. A Touriyo agent explains Etihad Airways' published rules, points you to the right channel and, if a new ticket works out better, can book it for you.

What does Touriyo charge to cancel?

Touriyo's fee is quoted on the call from the airline's rules, in one total before you pay, and it is charged only when the cancellation is done. If your fare returns nothing, the agent tells you first and you can decide not to go ahead.

Can I cancel directly with Etihad Airways?

Yes, through Etihad Airways' own channels listed on this page, at no agency cost.
